Summer Art Highlights: Sharing My Work at Honolulu Hale and Hoʻomaluhia

Summer is always a vibrant time for creative energy, but this season feels particularly special. I am excited to share that my artwork is being featured in two wonderful exhibitions on Oʻahu this summer: the Windward Artists Guild (WAG) 2026 Summer Exhibition and the Association of Hawaii Artists (AHA) 2026 Exhibit.

🎨 WAG Summer Exhibition: "Tapestry of Cultures"

  • Location: Honolulu Hale (530 S. King Street, Honolulu)

  • Dates: June 19 – July 14, 2026

Hosted by the Windward Artists Guild, the "Tapestry of Cultures" show brings together a rich collection of visual perspectives from artists across the island. Set inside the historic halls of Honolulu Hale, the theme explores how diverse traditions, island heritage, and personal backgrounds weave together into a shared community narrative. Having my work displayed in this central community space alongside such talented local artists has been a true highlight of the summer.

🌿 AHA 2026 Exhibit at Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden

  • Location: Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden Gallery (Kāneʻohe)

  • Setting: Surrounded by 400 acres of lush Windward greenery

Transitioning from downtown Honolulu to the peaceful rainforest backdrop of Kāneʻohe, the Association of Hawaii Artists 2026 show at Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden offers a completely different energy. Exhibiting art in a gallery immersed in nature creates a unique connection between the natural world outside and the visual storytelling on the walls. It's always an honor to show work in a space frequented by art lovers, hikers, and island visitors alike.

A Heartfelt Thank You

Participating in these shows back-to-back has been an incredible opportunity to connect with fellow creators, art supporters, and visitors from near and far.

Thank you to everyone who has dropped by the galleries, attended the receptions, or supported local arts in Hawaiʻi. Your encouraging words and passion for local creativity mean the world!
